Happiness is not bought or found, its achieved.. To achieve the happiness you want you will have to do things for you and know that not all things are perfect..

Some things you can do to be happy is doing things you enjoy which can vary from going out with friends or doing activities alone at home that grabs your attention and interests.
The things that make me happiest are my hobbies, family and friends! I used to have so many problems with control, but once I started going with the flow and falling back on those things it made me much happier.

Only you can determine your happiness.
Try thinking of old memories where you had fun/happy times with friends or family and try reliving it
You can find your own happiness by actively searching for something that makes you calm down. For example, when I used to get frustrated because of my parents, studying, and other things, I used to play the piano to make myself focus on calming down rather than focusing on the frustration. Besides trying to find something that makes you feel at ease, I think other ways that can make a person happy can be communicating with other people as people around you will likely be willing to empathize and sympathize with you, and can make you happy as well.

Be grateful for the small things.
Look at the most positive things you have in your life, no matter how small and be focused on those, when things do not go as planned. There is always the ability to keep fight and you want to try your best so keep fighting.
Talk sweetly and positively to yourself. You are worthy. Make sure you take this deep into your heart and make sure you love yourself enough to tell yourself in word and deed. Look inside and be happy with what you have. Be content. It's ok to want to do better but enjoy yourself as you are, too, so you can be happy in the moment.
Different things can facilitate happiness. For instance, what activities do you enjoy? There are so many fun and rewarding activities that you can engage in to help you feel happy. For example, hiking, baking, playing an instrument, spending time with loved ones, walking a dog, doing yoga, reading, knitting, watching films, exercising, doing a puzzle etc. These activities actually release neurotransmitters and hormones that are associated with good feelings (for e.g., serotonin, endorphins, dopamine, and oxytocin).
If you struggle to feel happiness no matter what you do, you should seek support from a professional, for example your primary care physician. Maybe try meditation! Buy some flowers! You could drink some water or draw a picture! You could also choose to see the photo albums if you would like or simply write a journal! Identify the things that you are grateful for and affirm yourself! Read a blog or a book or watch some videos! Make yourself a cup of tea or coffee or make something that you enjoying eating - try eating something healthy! Maybe try to get your work done! Clean your closet! Compliment someone else! Take deep breaths! And most of all - smile! Just keep a smile on your face - it will help to release dopamine will make you happier! And at the end, get plenty of sleep!
