The best way to nip jealousy in the bum is to realize that love can be shared and it doesn't decrease by doing so. In other words, you can love more than one people at once, and it doesn't mean one person is less loved because of it. Think of every mother or father on the planet who has more than one child. After the second is born, they don't love the first any less!
You can keep yourself from getting overly jealous by closing your eyes for a few second and taking a few deep breath and ask yourself, Why am I jealous, How will my actions affect my immediate surrounding and I and how best can i solve this problem i'm facing without frustrating and angering myself. you can also find books and videos to better help on understanding the build up of jealousy and how best to nuetralize the feeling.

Keep your head high and walk with confadance, because chances are your probably better looking then they are anyways.
I find that practicing gratitude is helpful. Knowing what you have, how you got it and how much it benefits your life can assist in your perception of yourself and others, and help you to appreciate all that you have.

Start by remembering that most people have the best intentions. Convince yourself of this, because for the most part, it's very true. Jealousy is triggered by assuming the worst in people.
You should realize that everyone offers something different to the world. Jealousy is normal. Excessive jealousy is something to be avoided.
I remind myself of all the good in my life and everyone I truly love and who loves me in return. When you are surrounded by happiness and are thankful for all you have, jealousy will not be a factor.
Try to stop comparing yourself with others . There is always gonna be someone prettier, smarter , richer , blah..blah than you but that doesn't mean you lack something . You are unique and no one can be you better than you
