Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

I think that you should be open and honest with him and tell him how you feel. At the end of the day, he is your dad and that will always come first. His business may be important to him, but as his child, I imagine you and your wellbeing and happiness is most important and he cares about you more. If you feel like you couldn't do it face to face, you could always write him a letter, or email and explain everything in depth so he is able to understand - which I am sure he will.

I think the best thing to do with breaking difficult news with someone is to present your idea in person. That way, you can fully express yourself without any confusion over text. And you are such a good child for wanting to care for your father, but it would be better telling your dad now, so that he can find and train someone else to take over his company. Remember to prioritize what makes you happy in the end. And as you parent, I'm sure your father would want what is best for you in the end. You got this!

Unfortunately, it's going to sting no matter how you put it. That doesn't mean there's nothing you can do to ease the blow. (Btw, I'm proud of u for doing this :) I would recommend writing a letter to him. Face to face can be stressful and exposes you to his immediate reaction, but a text is a bit too impersonal in my opinion. You can share your letter with friends or with family members who won't tell him to get feedback. If possible, I would talk to your dad's partner and any immediate family to get their opinion on the subject, they know him best. Try not to over explain your reasoning, but make sure to be gently honest. It won't be easy at first, but I'm sure that over time it will get better.
