What is the best way to prevent relapse?
Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

I have helped and am helping people cope with loss, divorce, anguish and parenting. Depression is also a major issue that comes up.

Stay active, get enough sleep, food and exercise. If you lack any of these things you have a bigger risk of relapsing because you need enough of all of these things to be physically healthy, and if you aren't physically healthy it affects your mental health too. If your mental health is weak you have a bigger risk of relapsing

the best way to prevent relaspse is coping skills. you always need coping skills, it will take your mind off of whatever you might relapse on.

Remind yourself of all the things that you have done to overcome the issue that you were facing and how proud you are with yourself for that achievement.

remember why you stopped the first time, have a strong motivation on what you want your life to look like and have a good support group behind you. have a good, positive coping mechanism that can you distract you for a bit also helps. I have a list of all positive coping mechanism that i know work on me and i carry it around everywhere i go. Also having somebody to talk to, someone you can be honest with and that it doesn't judge you no matter what you did or are doing. if talking is not an option brain dumping your problems on paper also works for me
