Depression can be caused by a chemical imbalance in your brain, this means that even though nothing is wrong you can still be depressed, I would recommend speaking to a doctor
Depression is not always situational, the emotion of being depressed itself can be caused by so many things. Death of a loved one, job loss, family problems or even poor diet/chemical imbalances.
It is also common to see depressed people who tend to live in the past, they dwell on past times past that were not so good. Living in the past rather than the present can maintain depression even when things are currently good. What is in the past should stay in the past.
There's always a solution though, seek for help as soon as you can. Mental health is important and a professional therapist can do a lot to treat it.

You should distract yourself by doing your hobby for example, like painting, exercise, cooking and play with your pet if you have. don't forget to connect with your friend truough video call or meet in person. you can write them letter to say how thankful you're for having them in your life. don't forget to set your priororites, set your goal; start from very small target untill the big one. after you accomplish your goal, treat yourself with your favourite food. oh ya, don't forget to get enough sleep because sometimes we get crancky and can't think clearly when we sleep. and the last one don't forget to smile. because your smile, can be someone else hapiness.
A thing that i like to say to myself is that emotions don‘t necessarily need a reason, sometimes you can feel sad or happy not knowing why and that is ok, if you are feeling depressed the main think to focus on is how to make yourself feel better, one way of doing this is talking about this to a person you trust who will listen to you without judgement, another way is to surround yourself with people you love or try to find something that you feel like will make you happier like a hobby. Of course, sometimes you may feel like these things might help you with dealing with your depression a little but if you need some more help seek a professional help.
