Accepting yourself for who you are will inevitably get rid of self hatred. Embrace who you are take care of yourself, self care is very important.

identify what it is that you hate about yourself and put into perspective whether you really have a reason for hating yourself. Focus on the positives and remind yourself of what makes you special

You need to start by saying five good things about yourself for every bad one. You also need to think about your good traits rather than your bad ones.

This is a long process, but it’s worth the effort. A lot of the time, we’re often the most hardest on ourselves. Remember that you’re just as human as everybody you care about. If someone hated the most important person in your life as much as you hate yourself, how would you feel? That’s the same type of care you have to take of yourself. YOU matter. You matter just as much as anybody in any room. You are important. You deserve to be loved just like anybody on this planet. Call yourself out for putting yourself through hell. You deserve better

When we feel hate towards ourselves, there are often unresolved emotions that we are holding onto, these are often unexpressed and this can turn into a lack of self love. We can judge ourselves and our actions and behaviour and decide that we are not living up to our own expectations or others expectations of us. This is where we can begin to feel bad about ourselves, judging ourselves and then ultimately hating ourselves. Sometimes this can show up as real feelings of hate, or we can find we have a lot of negative self talk and seemingly punishing ourselves either in our mind or with outward harmful behaviours. It is a process of forgiveness of self and others, acceptance and self love. Remembering yourself as a young child, who needed love and care and compassion. You still need all of that. If you can hold yourself as a child in your mind and bring compassion, love and forgiveness to yourself and others, you can begin to overcome the feelings of hate, as the feelings of love will get stronger.
