Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

You can never really make it 'go away'. You can distract yourself from it, momentarily forgetting about it, but its always there, like a heartbeat.

Depression doesn't go away but it can get better. It takes work but it is definitely achievable. Being with friends and family and doing the things you love are all parts of getting better and feeling better.

Depression can be pretty difficult to get rid of, sometimes it sticks with you for the rest of your life. However a theraphist would be to recommend.

Depression is not something that just goes away. Sometimes, people relapse and I would like you to understand how difficult it is. Based on my personal experience, I suggest doing more exercise and finding the courage to open up about it. Depression is easier to overpower when you have someone supporting you every step of the way. If you have somebody by your side, you have a best friend, someone to vent to and someone to make sure your taking your antidepressants. On that topic, I suggest seeing a therapist for they have a professional degree and are well trained to help you.

Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain. The only way to make it go away is to balance the physiological factors. Even when we do that, it leaves wounds. I had a hard time acknowledging that when I was recovering from a depressive episode. I thought that if I fixed my neurotransmitters I could fix everything. But depression seeds deep thought patterns of self-loathing and harmful thinking. Those don't just go away; we have to face them. We have to make the conscious decision to love ourselves and treat ourselves well. We have to acknowledge that we have worth.

Seek help and support. There is no shame in talking about your feelings and asking for help. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. If you break your arm you would ask for help so there should be no difference if your mental health needs attention. If anything it is a very brave act to do. Self help books and online information can also be of benefit. Many people find having structure to their day helps alongside exercising and getting outdoors. Perhaps you may find support groups also helpful as you could connect with people with similar struggles. Just remember you are not alone, that there is help out there and that depressive feelings will pass.

Focus on the positives in life. For every bad thing that happens to you, write or think of at least 2 things that you will learn from this experience or anything good that happened as a result. Also, always ask yourself whether your problems will matter in 5 years time? This is a great way to overcome depression as it makes you truly evaluate whether the problems you have now will matter in the long term. You also need to think of solutions when you come across and hurdles rather than dwelling on situations endlessly. I really hope this helped.

1. Get in a routine. If you’re depressed, you need a routine, says Ian Cook, MD. He's a psychiatrist and director of the Depression Research and Clinic Program at UCLA. Depression can strip away the structure from your life. One day melts into the next. Setting a gentle daily schedule can help you get back on track. 2.Set goals. When you're depressed, you may feel like you can't accomplish anything. That makes you feel worse about yourself. To push back, set daily goals for yourself. 1. Get in a routine. Depression may not completely go away but you can definitely do things to make it better. It can be helpful to find activities you enjoy and try to schedule them around the times you tend to feel depressed. Talking to someone is also great whether it is here on 7 cups or with a close friend. Journaling is a great way to feel more in control of your feelings as well. Don't be afraid to talk to a therapist if you feel you need to. Remember you are not alone. I hope you feel better soon. You are worth it!
