Well, first off, that's never okay. Just because it's reality doesn't make it okay. I'm sorry to hear this, and it really makes me sad. One way to maybe counter-balance this is to find another niche group of friends or even a sort of support group, and find ways to genuinely compliment/have fun with each other. Sometimes mean people say things, but we have to shrug it off, and become stronger from it. I hope this helps you at least a little bit, and don't forget that we here at 7Cups are always here for you!
No it is not, but they will do it nonetheless. Some people just may not like you and that is okay. It is not okay for you to let that get to you, let it affect you and make you upset. Walk away from them, don't take it personally, and find people to be around that have positive impacts on your life.

It is not okay for this to be happening. They shouldn't be mean to anyone, especially if you aren't mean to them either. It is never okay for someone to be mean to you!
I'm going to be honest. Humans are cruel and heartless jerks and they will only always see you how they want to see you. It is very unfair, I agree, but you shouldn't mind them. The people who are mean to you aren't bad people, they just don't understand you in the same way. You brain works differently from anyone else's and that's ok. You should just enjoy who you are. Nobody is forcing you to be one way or another because you are a captain and the world is your ship. Take charge and do your best to play your part and don't let anyone sway you.
