Perhaps you are insecure about yourself. If you are content with who you are, you will stop trying to put others beneath you
I may have low self esteem and try to up myself bu down'ing others. I may be stubborn. I may be jealous or envious of them. Many reasons are possible but I will do my best to put a stop to it. I will stop saying that I 'can't' stop doing it. Maybe I am hurt and I want them to feel like I do.

Because may be you find enjoyment in that ... If you understand It is bad then you should try to enjoy other things instead of bullying others :)
You're scared. You bully others but only because you are scared to end up in the other persons place. Many people have a façade, or walls surrounding them , and only certain people can break them down, however what one sees on the wall, whether it's graffiti or a work of art, there is always a possibility of the person inside to be different.
You can't stop bullying because you see how bad you hurt others, and it's exactly how you THINK you'd be treated if you didn't act tough. Inside of your head, your brain is just like an ice berg. You think that you only know little but you actually know a lot. It's the same with feelings and thoughts. You may think and feel a little bit but you're subconsciously thinking and feeling a lot more than you think. Your brain sometimes does the maths with numbers missing, which is imagining things that have a small probability of happening. What's positive is that you will realise that not all you think will come true, but by how you act.
Few things to keep in mind:
TREAT OTHERS LIKE YOU WISH TO BE TREATED
KARMA COMES BACK AROUND
YOUR BRAIN IS AN ICEBERG
PUTTING PEOPLE DOWN IS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE SCARED THAT THEY ARENT HIGH ENOUGH.
I hope you take this into account and make a change for the better.
It sounds like bullying people gives you a felling of power and authority over them, but trust me, it is not authentic. Seeing how bad it hurts them can lead you to understanding how they really feel about you, and also help you understand yourself better.
When I’ve been mean to others, it’s often because something else makes me angry and I take my anger out on he safest thing possible. Apologise to whoever you bully, tell them you never meant anything you did and just ask them to be friends

Perhaps its more about the feelings you get of power - being in the position of power can be addictive, and thats how you feel when you bully

If you feel like bullying someone and you know it's not right think about if it's something you really want to do to hurt others to make you feel better and if you don't agree than it's better not to try to hurt others.
Bullying seems to be an attempt to make a person feel better about themself. Try addressing any problems or issues in your life - why are you feeling so bad? You might not even realise you are feeling bad until you think about it.
There's many reasons that you could feel this way; you could be doing it because it makes you feel better about your own problems or to keep your reputation from being destroyed.
