Sometimes, you just can't change what people think. In my personal experience, I just stopped caring about what other people thought and started caring about how I felt about myself. All that matters is what you think about yourself. Your REAL friends won't care who you are. They'll support you no matter what.
It doesn't really matter what others think of you. What should matter is if you think that you're superficial?!
Show them that there is more to you than meets the eye. Get into intellectual conversations with them, ask them about their lives and their feelings, make things you discuss more about them and less about you.
Compliment others! Just start think of others before yourself. Take others feelings into consideration. They'll see a change!
Maybe start for thinking about know why they think you're too superficial. And Also think if you really are and if that people are just trying to push you down or not
Engage in intelligent conversations and let people get to know your personality. Sometimes people like to find layers.
You cannot stop people from thinking anything, you cannot control other people's thoughts. What you can do is showing people who you really are by your acctions, worthy people would be happily surprised to find out there's more to you than meets the eye... Others won't ever see your positive side, so let them think what they want, you know who you REALLY are!

By being honest about who you are, and by not focusing to much on the physical realm. You can do this in many ways, such as asking them how they are first rather then age, gender, or any other features that are "skin deep"

thats just it , you may feel like you never can and people will always have their opinions , trust me I know , but as long as you stay true to who you are you'll be just fine , surround yourself with good people
Just be your most genuine self! Don't base your personality on the objects you own or your appearance, and try your best not to judge others based on their appearance.
Show compassion and kindness for others, despite their popularity, clothing, or status in all places.
The best thing to do is continue being yourself. If people still think you are superficial, that is on them. But as long as you have done everything in your power to stay true to you, it should not matter what they think.
