What to do if your afraid of people you know killing you? It's a strange question but it's been bothering me with no resolution. I'm almost 16 now and it's worrying.

it sounds like you may be experiencing paranoia. this may be from anxiety or OCD. if this has been occuring for a while, you should probably talk to your parents or some adult you trust, and possibly visit a doctor or therapist about this. it sounds like a serious issue that may need treatment. paranoia causes you to be skeptical or worried about abnormal things like that, and might require some help, whether it be from a therapist, medication, or combo of both. i really hope that you can get this issue fixed up soon, best of luck to you!

I would reason with them to make sure they aren't going to. 1. You are probably just paranoid and your brain is telling you that even though it's not true. You could just talk with them to make sure. Or just take take a moment to think and relax. Answer this question, Did you do something to make them want to hurt you? Also think about it in reality, would someone you know want to kill you for no specific reason? I personally think you should talk to them and reassure yourself that they won't harm you. Have a great day, Evie!

I know it's hard, but you should try to talk to someone you know and trust. When you're that worried, it can be hard to tell which anxieties are rational, and you need to make sure you're not in danger before trying to address this. Try to find a school counselor or teacher you can talk to at first. Just talking with another person can help you better understand your own situation, even before they say anything. Also, it might be a good idea for you to seek professional help/ advice from a therapist or psychiatrist, especially if this is something you've been struggling with fairly consistently for a long time.
