Breath. Everything will be okay. Use your five senses to focus on your surroundings. Identify what you can smell. Look around at all the things. Can you taste anything? Touch things close to you. Identify what you can hear. You are right where you are. You are real.

Do it slowly and deliberately. ... Do less. ... Put space between things. ... Spend at least 5 minutes each day doing nothing. ... Stop worrying about the future -- focus on the present. ... When you're talking to someone, be present. ... Eat slowly and savor your food. ... Live slowly and savor your life.

Don't have any distractions just stare at the sights or listen to the sounds and only focus on those things. You will love yourself later for it.

Living in the moment is hard, but the best way to do it is to just try and accept yourself as best you can. You are only human. You have made mistakes, but you have also done good things, and as long as you find some way to feel satisfied with today, then that can be considered living in the moment.

To me living in the moment means to be in the now, this day, this hour, this minute. Sometimes, we can be preoccupied with the past and the present and we forget today. So when you choose to live in the moment put away the pain of the past and the fear of the future and be open to the beauty of today.

Like a child. I allow even my most relative experiences to feel like it's the first time. Not every video of cereal taste the same. Not every walk to the park smells of feels the same. I'm not going to rob myself from experiencing the subtle differences.

Take a deep breath and try to keep your mind at ease. To me living in the moment is letting yourself and your worries go. While it's hard, you have to find a way to disconnect from everything that's holding you back just long enough for you to live in the moment and truly immerse yourself in it.

Living in a moment is mindfulness which is the result of not thinking about past or future. This helps to enjoy everything around you which is living in the moment.

Be Least bothered about the past and the future. It is difficult, even though people easily say that. No one can completely execute this thinking well. But you can surely think this way most of the time. The answer for the question how: Just understand that nothing is going to change if you think about the past or the future. This thinking must not be misunderstood the other way. You always have to learn from mistakes in the past and take care that you never repeat the same. Likewise, Keep motivated thinking about the future. In short, positive thoughts of future is fine, but don't think about negatives of your past.

Clear your mind and allow yourself to experience what is going on around you fully instead of rethinking your past or worrying about the future.

One way to stay in the present moment is to just practice noticing things - the feel of a shirt, the smell of some tea, the kindness of a stranger, the sound of a bird - in the moment it is happening. Try to experience the moment with all your senses. This is the way to avoid ruminating on the past or worrying about the future - by fully experiencing the now.

Don't worry about anything that is not yet a problem, overthinking situations that haven't happened prevents you from living in the moment. Take a breath and take everything in and gain an understanding of where you are and what the situation is, that's how you live in the moment

I try to let go of my worries and focus on what's going on. Also, avoiding over thinking, which can be really bad.

Stop thinking about the past/future. Close your eyes, breathe in, feel the air fill your lungs, open your eyes, look around you at the colors. Smell the air, identify all the scents you can. Touch your shirt, feel the fabric underneath your fingers. Look around you at all the colors of the world. Experience life to the fullest. Never miss a moment.

You live in the moment by doing what your gut tells you. You feel it is going to make you happy. You do it. Make sure you are not going to face any consequences though :) Do good to others along the way.

Focus on you right now. Don't think about your past or what happened yesterday, and don't plan what's going to come in the future, tomorrow. What are you doing right in this very second?

While breathing, Count the blessings right now. Having a body, feeling each breath and being thankful for what you have. It will make you realize that you are present in the moment. And with each thought that makes you uncomfortable, identify its origin and the reason of it coming in present moment

hink positive thoughts. There's nothing you can do to change the past. It's gone, so let it go! It's negative baggage! The future will come down the pike just the way it's supposed to. . Concern your self with those things you can impact. The rest will happen with or without your stress. Live each day like it's your last. This is living in the moment. And try not to take anything in life, for granted.

Realize that nothing in the past or future is real. Be with the reality that you are in and experience in the moment and accept it as it is without any desire or wish that is would be different. There is only this moment, this state of Now and Here. Everything else is false.

Great question. I myself have been on the journey of learning how to live in the moment. First find your passion and then follow it, do more of the things that make you happy, schedule it into your day if you have to. Since we're on the topic of schedules, personally I can't go a day without some sort of to-do list or checklist so if you are anything like me than make schedules for yourself but don't plan too far ahead, just making a small to do list for the day is enough. Make sure you leave in room for time to relax and sudden event that come up. If these sudden events do come up, if there is nothing else important to do, go. Take every chance you get to get out of the house and spend time with family and friends. But make sure those family and friends actually make you happy and don't wear you down. There is happiness in every day life, you just have to look for it, it'll be there. Living in the moment can be hard because most of the time we are filled up with work or school, but to be honest I think it's a bit of an excuse you may not like school but that doesn't mean your entire life has to just as miserable. You have to stay positive and try your best to find the beautiful things in your every day and you'll be on your way to living in the moment.
