Take a moment and focus on your breathing. In, and out. repeat that motion, deep breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth.

Breathe. Just breathe. Think about all the beautiful things in your life. I know they are, just focus on that. You'll feel better.

To stop your hands from shaking you can close your eyes and take deep breaths to try and calm your mind and body down. Also sit down spread you hands out on a table, look at your hands focus on them and in your mind or out loud repeat calm down, relax. This in time might help your hands from shaking. Also if you have someone close to you that you feel safe with ask them to hold your hands. This can help you calm down and in turn help you stop shaking. If these methods do not work you can try to talk to a gp or a counselor.

try to be calm thats the best thing you can do. The more you think about different things and whole lot different situations you gonna just stress out yourself and nothing much than that. So its better to leave things some times in order to move on and think for self instead of being anxious about things, you cant do anything about...! Other than that, try to solve your problems as of you are solving basic maths so that you can really achieve something on working out on self. Try to get good sleep, try to go out and try to live alone sometimes.

Tremors in the hands can occur without a cause or as a symptom of an underlying condition. Shaky hands is not a life-threatening symptom, but it can have an impact on daily activities. Most people have a slight tremor in the hands, and it may be especially noticeable when holding the hands straight out in front of the body. Tremors range in severity, and several conditions can cause more noticeable shaking. we explore common causes of hand tremors and their treatments A tremor is a common movement disorder. An involuntary, rhythmic muscle contraction causes the shaking. Tremors are most common in the hands, but they can also occur in the arms, head, vocal cords, torso, and legs. Tremors can be intermittent, happening every so often, or constant. Sometimes tremors develop on their own, and other times they signal an underlying health issue.

Depends on why it's shaking . It can be for medical reasons , even spiritual ( if you're open minded on the subject ) , or simply anxious. I'll speak about the last one because I trust it's more common . If it is anxiety that makes your hands tremble , I advise you to seek help so that you can control the anxiety . Because as long as your heart is in tense , you can't help it. But if you're not anxious at all , then maybe going for check up would be a good idea.

Crossing your arms could work if you're standing up. Otherwise clasping your hands together or putting them under your legs could help with the actual shaking. I know these responses are highly superficial and seem a little weak but honestly I have always found them to be helpful in the past. Thinking about what is causing the shaking too could help, by allowing you to acknowledge the root cause of your anxiousness. Once you have done this, think rationally through all the things you could do to address this area. Know that your body protects you and that you are safe.

Many things can cause our hands from shaking. Anything from cold - we shiver so that our bodies force us to warm a little bit. Over stimulation. If you are a big coffee drinker or a smoker etc our bodies can be so over stimulated that we shake. My fiance can't drink coffee in the mornings anymore as she is a surgeon and if she is overstimulated, stitching people up is almost impossible. Some people also have restless leg syndrome, which means a lot of the time their legs just need to move and shake and sometimes dance. I don't know why, but a friend of mine used to walk for hours every night because his legs wouldn't let him sleep. So you could have one of these or another one. If you are worried about it being a physical thing, see what stimulants you can stop, or try gloves or something. Otherwise, GPs could have a look and see if its something else inside.

If you have shaking anything and you drink often, you may have Delirium Tremens. This requires a doctors attention, seek help immediately. This site requires extra characters with no reason given, so, I'm going to say one more thing, I love you, and you can get over this. Apparently I have to keep going even those this question doesn't require it. This goes out to 7cups... who in your staff decided this questions needed to be so long? Is it for things that make you money or is it because you used a blanket rule to make sure things get done.... OK I made it. Done.

Shaking hands are usually a symptom of anxiety or another underlying issue. A good way to stop your hands from shaking is to try and combat anxiety. To do this, you could try deep breathing exercises that can provide you with relief, or make use of apps that help you handle your anxious feelings/thoughts. Some helpful apps that I'm aware of include Calm, or Headspace. Meditation and yoga are also two other good ways that can help you seek relaxation. In the case that these types of exercises don't necessarily work for you, another option is to try reaching out to therapy or other support systems/resources that can help you manage your issues. The first step is to accept the problem so you're on the right path!

When my hands start to shake, I sit up and stretch my arms. I put my left arm across my chest and use my right hand to grab my left elbow. After I do this for both arms, I rotate my shoulders and pull them back, keeping them relaxed. I then rest my hands in my lap and take long, deep breaths, imagining myself squeezing a stress ball. The most important thing is to breathe, in and out, deep breaths. Try not to panic if the shaking doesn’t go away. It takes a little bit of time, and with practice, you will have more control over your reaction to it.

Hey reader, This must be really hard to come to grips with but it sounds like hand shaking is a sign of anxiety and if your in an anxious situation pleasr remove yourself if possible and that could stop the shaking. I know from personal experience that my hands shake when i'm extreemely nervous or i'm in an uncomfortable situation, like i said above removing yourself may be the best option but if that isn't possible breathing techniques, like meditation could really help from my experiences. i'm sorry if i can't help anymore, feel free to message me if you need more advice! If your hands are shaking from nervousness or anxiety, try some deep breathing. Inhale through your nose to the count of 7, then hold for a count of 5, now exhale through. your mouth for a count of 7. Repeat this several times. Calming your nervous system can also be done with really cold water on your face. Either place your face in a bowl of water or use a very cold wet cloth over an icy compress. In both cases, be sure the cold water is covering from your chin to over your eyes. Try to keep your face submerged for as long as you can. 20-30 seconds if possible. This is a really big help for me and you can find many examples of this technique online.

Sit down or try to get comfortable, try to breath slowly in and out, hold onto something steady if possible, and see if you can find out why you're shaking, know that its nothing bad and everyone has it happen in their lives, maybe try to stretch your hands a little, see if you can eat something and make sure your thought are something else than what you're currently thinking about, put on something on tv, listen to music, maybe even dance a little to relax your musles! Perhaps wash your hands with some cold water so you keep your hands busy too

Having your hands shake can be really difficult to cope with, especially if you're an artist or are worried about if anyone will notice that your hands are shaking. As crazy as this sounds, one of the best things to do is try not to focus on it. The ways you can do that is by focusing on your breathing or grounding exercises. Also, if this is a common occurrence for you, drink lots of water and make sure your body is well nourished. I wish you the best of luck! I hope this helped you a little bit. -Lina

Breathe. I know this feeling won't last forever even if in the moment it does. Distract myself. Play with my fingers, and move them in a pattern. Close my eyes. Imagine I'm in a safe place. My bed. Remember you are your own worst critic. Everyone makes mistakes so it if okay if I make one. I'm not alone other people have felt like this and they survived. My first time doing something? It'll be okay if I mess up. I know people are understanding and the most I can do is my best. If I try my best I can be happy with myself. I can find comfort in my own body. And if I need help someone in this world is willing to help me. Believe the universe has a plan for me and what's meant to happen will happen.

Limit or avoid caffeine as this tends to make it worse. Consider physical therapy to strengthen and improve it. See your GP or a Dr who may be able to explore this and offer diagnosis(if you do not have this already) they can offer different forms of treatment and medication which can often lessen or at least reduce your tremors significantly. These treatments could rang from beta blockers to anti anxiety meds if this the cause. Consider writing down what happens and when it happens to get a better idea of what is going on for you and help you get treatment :)

I usually close my eyes and take deep breaths while trying to clear my mind and think of nothing at all. It helps to sit or find something to lean against. It takes a couple minutes but it works for me. It sometimes help to picture nothing but the color white for some reason 🤷🏽 When that doesn’t help I try washing my face and controlling my breathing. Usually when hands start to shake then breathing and heart rate increases so I don’t try to stop the shaking I try to control the heart rate and breathing and that In turn help to stop shaking for me.

Shaking hands can occur for many reasons, including reasons pertaining to health, so before you take any advice from the internet about how to stop your hands from shaking, it may be a good idea to check with a healthcare professional or doctor to see why your hands are shaking and to rule out any possible underlying health conditions. Consulting a doctor may even resolve the issue if they are able to identify and treat the cause. However, if the shaking is idiopathic (that is, without a known cause) or if it is recommended to be treated through lifestyle modifications, several modifications may help. These include: reducing caffeine in the diet, engaging in calming exercises or mindfulness exercises, practicing small rituals that you find relaxing and which seem to reduce the tremor, for instance, focusing on small, safe, fine motor tasks, like drawing or stringing beads. I wish you the best of luck with your hands, and hope you are able to find the answers you need.

Hi! I absolutely understand how much of a burden shaking hands can be. Here are some tips to prevent them from shaking: Try to avoid caffeine. Caffeine and other stimulants can increase tremors. Learn to relax, take your mind to a place that calms you and makes you feel at peace. Another tip is to keep your hands occupied. Try doing activities such as drawing, writing, building Legos, or playing a mobile game. If none of the previously listed options don't work for you, try wearing wrist weights! The extra weight on your arm may very well make control easier.

If you find your hands shaking it helps a lot to try and drop your shoulders, take a few deep breaths and have a glass of water. The more you centre yourself it will help to calm your nervous system, which will calm the shaking. Usually anxiety is the cause of the adrenaline rush to cause shaking, so the more you work on calming the Central Nervous System and the fight or flight response, you would help the hand shaking. Sometimes a sleepless night, or overuse of alcohol can also cause this response, so getting more sleep is a good idea.

Firstly, place your hands on a surface. This could be a table, your legs or even the wall. Next, try and place both feet on the ground. This should help you feel grounded. You can imagine roots growing from your feet into the ground. Next, focus on your breathing. Acknowledge other thoughts into your head but let them pass by and concentrate on your breathing again. Breathe in through the nose slowly for about 7 seconds, hold for 3 seconds, and release as much air as you can from your lungs slowly. Repeat this until you feel calmer. Closing your eyes can help too. If you are unable to do this breathing technique due to the situation you are in then I find holding my own hand either behind my own back or in a clasping motion helps a lot.

Well, I have Tourette’s syndrome so I do that a lot. I usually do push ups to tire my hands, or overcome the mental side of the shaking, or what causes the shaking (for me usually anxisouness that causes them)

Calming yourself down as well as sitting down and taking deep breaths in and out can help. You should try and stay calm as much as possible.

Calm yourself down. Take a deep breath in for 7 seconds, hold it for about 4 seconds, then exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat that until you feel calm. Collect your thoughts, maybe try mediating, clear your mind from all the stress you may be going through.

Focus on the speed at which you are breathing and ask yourself if what you are stressing over is really worth it!

Avoid caffeine. Caffeine and other stimulants can increase tremors. Use alcohol sparingly, if at all. Some people notice that their tremors improve slightly after they drink alcohol, but drinking isn't a good solution. ... Learn to relax. ... Make lifestyle changes. Essential tremor is a nervous system (neurological) disorder that causes involuntary and rhythmic shaking. It can affect almost any part of your body, but the trembling occurs most often in your hands — especially when you do simple tasks, such as drinking from a glass or tying shoelaces. There is no cure for essential tremor, but treatments can provide symptom relief and help improve quality of your life. Certain lifestyle changes and a treatment plan specific to you may help reduce your tremors.
