Yes, it was a struggle but if you believe you can do it, and you overpower your addiction and you try the best you can, there shouldn't be a problem. But, it wouldn't hurt to find someone to guide you into a sober life. Good Luck!

Hmm, depends what you are referring to. I have completely stopped taking any sort of drug to help with my depression and I am pretty certain I have completely gotten over my depression as well! I was a drug and alcohol addict as well as a religious self-harmer, but I stopped all of that! I even got over my anxiety and eating disorder! :) You can too! Never give up.

Yes, there are many others out there who have managed to stop completely because they choose to or a loved one help them.

Yes, there are millions of drug addicts and alcoholics who live clean and sober. I am one of them, and you can be too if you are willing to make changes. It's not about "just say no"; it's about learning a new way to live. And there is help available. AA is working for me, but there are many programs and professionals who can offer guidance.

Whatever the problem is, whether addiction or self harm, there are always survivors. In fact, more people survive habits than continue them for life.

Yes there certain cases in which people have changed their way from addiction on with strong support of his family and self imposed mental strength
