Sometimes. It is definitely more common with children/teens, but sometimes it continues into adulthood. However, you can definitely improve it. Work on figuring out distractions, eliminating them, figuring out what hurts your focus and getting out of those habits, and figuring out what helps you to focus.

I do not believe ADHD every fully goes away. It is a medical condition that affects your neurological function. But I do strongly believe that you will develop management and coping skills that will allow you to thrive with ADHD. As a child I took medication to support my focus in school. Now in the present day I do not feel medication is necessary as I am more self aware of my attention and can effectively refocus myself.

I don't think it completely goes away. As you age and get older you just learn how to manage it better. Symptoms are more noticed and common in teens and children, as you age and learn to manage it symptoms aren't that noticeable. So it doesn't go away, it's just something that needs to be managed and cope.

I've been dealing with ADHD for as long as I could remember and I can honestly say it does not go away... But- you can get medication for it to help control it. It's different for everyone, so be sure to talk to a doctor beforehand. The medications, as far as I am concerned, will not get rid of it. It will help keep you focused and control how much you fidget/etc.

It doesn't go away but if you work on developing tools to stay organized like a good planner and making good decisions a habit it can become easier to manage.
