The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wausau, WI, is dedicated to cultivating advocates for a food system rooted in social, environmental, and economic justice. By offering a comprehensive and tuition-free educational experience, we empower selected Fellows to engage deeply with organic food system practices. Our program includes hands-on training in growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating educational workshops on health and nutrition, and enhancing food and ecological literacy in local schools. Additionally, our Fellows support community gardens, farmers markets, and initiatives aimed at increasing access to healthy food options. After an enriching six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants enter a Community Action Year, where they apply their skills with regional non-profit organizations.
