The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Waupaca, WI is dedicated to supporting individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and accessible 12-month curriculum. This free program, available in both English and Spanish, empowers participants with essential knowledge and practical skills for effective diabetes management. Participants receive six informative e-booklets designed to address various aspects of diabetes care, along with a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips and local community events. By submitting their phone number, enrollees can also join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can engage with ADA experts to gain insights into managing their health and learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health.
