The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Waterford, WI, is designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, providing them with essential tools and knowledge for effective diabetes management over a supportive 12-month journey. This free program is accessible in both English and Spanish and includes six comprehensive e-booklets tailored to guide participants through key aspects of their diagnosis. Enrollees receive a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and valuable resources, as well as information about local community events. Participants who provide their phone numbers can join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can engage with ADA experts, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and access exciting giveaways that support their diabetes management.
