The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Waterford, WI, empowers passionate individuals to become influential advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our Fellowship program focuses on organic food system education and practical hands-on experience, without tuition fees to ensure accessibility for all. Selected Fellows engage in a transformative six-month residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate diverse crops, run educational initiatives, and develop food literacy programs that enrich local schools and communities. Additionally, Fellows actively support farmers markets and enhance access to healthy food through innovative distribution channels. Following their immersive training, each Fellow contributes their skills during a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to further strengthen local food systems. Applications are accepted until March for the fellowship that runs from May to October, inviting those dedicated to making a meaningful impact in their communities.
