At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Superior, WI, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators for a sustainable food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Our immersive program offers comprehensive training in organic food systems, empowering Fellows to engage with diverse agricultural practices, promote food equity, and foster community well-being. Participants gain hands-on experience by working on a market-style farm, leading educational initiatives in health care, maintaining community gardens, and supporting local farmers markets. By providing this opportunity without tuition costs, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. The Fellowship combines six months of experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus with a Community Action Year, allowing graduates to implement their knowledge with regional non-profits to enhance food literacy and improve access to healthy foods. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
