The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Platteville, WI is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates and educators for a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental stewardship, and economic sustainability. Our Fellowship offers comprehensive training in organic food systems, providing participants with hands-on experience in growing and distributing a variety of crops on market-style farms, implementing health education initiatives, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. As part of this transformative program, selected Fellows engage in a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a year of community action, where they partner with local non-profits to increase access to healthy foods and support community food initiatives. By eliminating tuition costs, we ensure that this valuable opportunity is accessible to all passionate individuals ready to make a difference in their communities.
