The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Mequon, WI, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system by training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates and educators. Our program provides an immersive, hands-on experience in organic food system education, enabling selected Fellows to engage with community partners in various impactful initiatives. These initiatives include growing and distributing diverse crops, facilitating health-oriented educational sessions, maintaining school and community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into educational settings. Our Fellows also support local farmers markets and develop vital distribution channels to enhance access to healthy food throughout the region. The Fellowship includes a six-month experiential learning period at our Allegheny Farm Campus followed by a Community Action Year, where participants apply their skills in collaboration with regional non-profits. We are committed to making this program accessible by offering it tuition-free, inviting applicants to join us in making a tangible difference in food systems by completing their application by March for the May to October program cycle.
