Sue Pakula, a Licensed Professional Counselor (MS, LPC), embodies empathy and authenticity in her counseling practice. She employs a Person-Centered approach and incorporates ideas from Interpersonal Psychotherapy and Existentialism to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding. Together with her clients, they work on individualized goals, recognizing that each person is the expert in their own life. With significant experience supporting individuals and families facing bereavement, sudden illness, and long-term health challenges, Sue is particularly passionate about assisting women with fertility issues, postpartum depression, and childbirth-related complications. She also provides compassionate support for those who have experienced the loss of a child. Furthermore, Sue’s areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, stress management, parenting, relationship dynamics, caregiving, all stages of cancer, and navigating life transitions. She works with clients across all stages of life, drawing on her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Sue looks forward to guiding her clients on their personal journeys toward healing and growth.
