The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Menomonee Falls, WI, nurtures the next generation of advocates for a fair and sustainable food system through comprehensive training and hands-on experience. By offering a tuition-free program, we prioritize accessibility, enabling devoted Fellows to immerse themselves in organic food system education and practical applications. Our Fellows engage in diverse initiatives such as cultivating and distributing crops, fostering school and community gardens, and empowering local health care through educational sessions. They support farmers markets, enhance healthy food access, and strengthen community food coalitions while developing critical food and ecological literacy. Over a transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, our selected participants partner with regional non-profits to implement real-world solutions. Applications are open until March for experiences starting from May through October, inviting passionate individuals to join our mission of creating a socially, environmentally, and economically just food landscape.
