The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Kenosha, WI, empowers aspiring advocates to cultivate a just food system through hands-on education and community engagement. This transformative program offers participants the chance to learn about organic food systems without the barrier of tuition, fostering accessibility for all. Fellows immerse themselves in six months of experiential training at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they implement their knowledge with local non-profits. Throughout their journey, participants engage in diverse activities such as growing and distributing crops, maintaining community gardens, leading educational initiatives, and promoting food and ecological literacy. By becoming mentors and collaborating with community coalitions, our Fellows help enhance access to healthy, fresh food for all, nurturing a sustainable future in Kenosha and beyond.
