Dr. Bethany Klim is a dedicated psychologist with over 17 years of federal service, during which she became acutely aware of the challenges faced by many veterans in navigating the mental health system, particularly in rural communities where travel, weather, and a lack of providers present significant hurdles. With a breadth of experience in treating individuals of all ages, Dr. Klim specializes in working with military members and their families. She adeptly addresses a full spectrum of patient issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, marital therapy, parenting challenges, and adjustment difficulties. Believing in a holistic approach complemented by measurable outcomes, Dr. Klim is skilled in assessment and takes joy in conducting psychological, cognitive, disability, and forensic evaluations. She is trained in various evidence-based treatments (EBTs) for PTSD, such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE). Additionally, she performs emotional support animal (ESA) evaluations and writes support letters to assist clients in their mental health journey. Upon leaving federal service, Dr. Klim was determined to create a practice that addresses the gaps in traditional mental health services, particularly targeting the reduction of barriers to care for those in rural settings and facilitating military transitions. Her unwavering loyalty and sense of duty reflect her dedication to helping all her patients achieve their mental health goals.
