At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hudson, WI, we are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Our program offers an immersive six-month training experience at the Allegheny Farm, where selected Fellows engage directly with organic food systems and learn to advocate for equitable, ecologically balanced food production. Without tuition, we ensure access for all aspiring advocates while empowering them to create impactful community change. Fellows collaborate with local partners to grow diverse crops, implement innovative health education, maintain community gardens, teach food literacy in schools, and support vital farmers markets. After their immersive training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills in partnership with regional non-profits to expand access to healthy food and strengthen community networks. The application is open until March each year, with the program running from May to October, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a socially responsible food system.
