Located in Holmen, WI, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship nurtures passionate individuals who aspire to be leaders in creating a food system that is just and sustainable. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this fellowship emphasizes hands-on education in organic farming practices, promoting both environmental stewardship and social equity. Through a comprehensive six-month residency on our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in diverse initiatives such as cultivating crops, maintaining community gardens, and leading educational workshops that integrate food literacy into local schools. Our mission is to enhance access to nutritious food and foster community connections, empowering the next generation of advocates for food justice. By offering this tuition-free program, we ensure that all dedicated individuals have the opportunity to join us in this vital work, with applications accepted until March each year for the experience running from May to October.
