The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hayward, WI, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Through an immersive six-month program, selected Fellows engage in hands-on training at our farm, focusing on building a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. We prioritize accessibility by offering this transformative experience completely tuition-free, encouraging diverse participation. Our curriculum empowers Fellows to grow and distribute crops, mentor future advocates, run community gardens, and lead educational initiatives around food and ecological literacy. Following their intensive training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to apply their knowledge and foster a healthier, more equitable food landscape. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
