The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hartland, WI, offers a transformative opportunity for individuals passionate about creating a just and sustainable food system. This fellowship equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to advocate for social, environmental, and economic justice within agriculture. Free of tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility for all aspiring fellows. Our program encompasses comprehensive organic food system education, where selected fellows engage in hands-on learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus. Over a six-month immersive experience, fellows will collaborate with local nonprofits and community partners to cultivate diverse crops, implement educational health initiatives, maintain community gardens, enhance food literacy in schools, and support farmer's markets. Following this enriching residency, fellows enter a Community Action Year, where they further their impact by applying their knowledge in real-world settings. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
