Located in Hartford, WI, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become passionate advocates for a just food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. Through our comprehensive Fellowship program, participants receive organic food system education and hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Highland County, VA, without the burden of tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Our Fellows engage deeply with local communities, supporting initiatives that include growing diversified crops, implementing innovative health education sessions, maintaining school and community gardens, and enhancing food literacy. Over the course of six months of experiential learning followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to foster increased access to healthy foods and support community food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the enriching experience running from May to October.
