Steve Wille is a dedicated counselor, LPC, and NCC with a rich background in education, enabling him to cater effectively to children, adolescents, and young adults. With a generally integrative approach, he has successfully worked with a spectrum of diagnoses, including anxiety, ADHD, anger management, and eating disorders, as well as addressing the dynamics of blended families and adoptive families. Steve is recognized as an advanced practitioner in Adoption Competent therapy, certified by UW-Milwaukee and C.A.S.E. He often employs a cognitive-behavioral, solution-based methodology, drawing upon the individual's strengths. He believes in the multiplicity of pathways to improved mental health, emphasizing the importance of physical well-being, education, and spirituality. Steve’s treatment interests are particularly focused on creating comprehensive treatment strategies for adoptive families, an initiative he developed following the adoption of his oldest son. His professional journey includes roles as an in-home counselor and high school teacher, coupled with five years of coaching cross country and track at various educational institutions. Outside of therapy, he indulges his passions for film, running, and baseball, while also engaging audiences through writing and podcasting about sports and pop culture.
