The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Delavan, WI, is dedicated to cultivating future leaders who advocate for a just food system that addresses social, environmental, and economic challenges. Through an immersive, six-month residential program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in organic food system education, gaining hands-on experience in growing diversified crops, implementing innovative health education, and promoting food literacy within schools and communities. We strive to make our Fellowship accessible by not charging tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can join us in our mission. Following their training, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with regional non-profits to support farmers markets, develop distribution channels for healthy foods, and foster community food initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year for our program that typically runs from May to October, providing a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in food systems.
