Located in Brookfield, WI, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship empowers passionate individuals to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This transformative program provides immersive organic food system education through hands-on experiences at the Allegheny Farm in Highland County, VA, fostering direct engagement with diversified crop production, community gardening, and educational initiatives. Fellows are trained to implement innovative health programs, support farmers markets, and mentor future leaders in food and ecological literacy. By eliminating tuition costs, we ensure that this fellowship is accessible to all, promoting inclusivity in developing a sustainable, equitable food landscape. Selected participants will spend six months in a residential study followed by a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to apply their skills and make a meaningful impact. Applications are accepted until March, with each fellowship running from May to October.
