The Women, Infant, Children (WIC) program, offered by the Sauk County Health Department in Baraboo, WI, is dedicated to promoting healthy food habits for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance and support, which includes breastfeeding counseling, nutrition advice, and a WIC Food Card that facilitates access to nutritious foods. We also offer valuable services such as height and weight checkups, lead and iron testing for children, and connections to healthcare resources like doctors and dental providers.
