The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Ashland, WI, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in the food justice movement. This transformative program empowers selected Fellows with comprehensive education in organic agriculture, emphasizing a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically equitable. By providing experiential learning opportunities at the Allegheny Farm Campus, our Fellows engage in hands-on training that includes growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and implementing educational initiatives that enhance food and ecological literacy. Throughout their journey, Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to mentor future leaders and advocate for increased access to nutritious, healthy foods. With no tuition fees, our Fellowship prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that aspiring advocates can contribute meaningfully to local food systems.
