Terry Reese is a passionate Licensed Professional Counselor who began his counseling career in 2001 after navigating a challenging personal journey marked by trauma and addiction. His profound experiences have led him to develop a deep understanding of the complex interplay between culture, faith, and sexuality. With 26 years of dedicated service in the military, Terry has not only advocated for recovery but has also transformed his own struggles into a source of strength and compassion for others facing addiction. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychological Studies at Regent University, building on his extensive educational background that includes a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and an Associate degree in Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment. Terry finds immense fulfillment in guiding individuals and families as they confront past wounds and embark on intentional healing journeys. He is also the co-founder of biblicalsexualintegrity.org, along with his initiatives in Faith-Based Acceptance, Abstinence, Congruency, and Practice Therapy (FB-AACPT). Through his work at Walk by Faith, Terry is committed to fostering connection and joy in the lives of those he serves.
