At Sunrise Outreach Center (SOC) Food Banks in Yakima, WA, we are dedicated to fighting hunger and supporting individuals and families in need throughout Yakima County. Our mission is to provide essential food assistance, ensuring everyone has access to nutritious food despite the challenges posed by poverty. We operate multiple food pantries where clients can receive the food necessary to meet their basic nutritional needs. To utilize our services, individuals must complete an annual government commodities form, which is available at our food banks, and present a current ID and proof of address. We prioritize accessibility; during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily lifted documentation requirements to ensure that those in need can still receive vital food supplies.
