Angela Close is a dedicated counselor (LMHCA, MEd) who deeply values the therapeutic relationship she builds with her clients. She understands that opening up can be difficult, especially when comfort levels are low. Angela believes in the power of collaboration, viewing counseling as a partnership aimed at healing and growth. Each therapeutic journey is tailored to the individual, allowing for a unique approach that could include art therapy interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy for challenging unhelpful thoughts, or simply providing a supportive ear to listen as clients process their feelings. Angela holds a Master’s in Education in Counseling from the University of Puget Sound and has honed her skills over the past two years working in a mental health agency, where she has encountered clients from diverse backgrounds and age groups. With specialized training in trauma-informed care, Angela is excited to connect and work with clients as they navigate their personal journeys toward wellness.
