Angela Lujan, LMHC, CMHS, is a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Child Mental Health Specialist, recognized for her commitment to supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families. With several years of experience, Angela expertly helps her clients navigate relational hardships and conflicts, particularly focusing on those facing challenges such as interpersonal relationships, bullying, self-image issues, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief and loss, trauma, learning disabilities, and various emotional and behavioral disorders. Angela's client-centered approach is complemented by her passion for utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-focused interventions to effectively address anxiety and depression. Additionally, she is trained in the highly regarded Triple P program, aimed at improving child behavioral challenges within the home. Angela also possesses extensive knowledge in collaborating with schools, juvenile and family courts, substance abuse programs, and social services. With a background as a hospital corpsman in the NAVY, she holds a special place in her practice for veterans. Currently, she serves as the clinical director of NW Family Psychology's Silverdale office, where her dedication to mental health continues to shine.
