Pamela Diane Atteberry

Pamela Diane Atteberry is a licensed independent clinical social worker and therapist, holding credentials as an MSW and LICS. She specializes in consultation and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and families. Her approach seamlessly integrates cognitive behavior therapy, psycho-education, family systems theories, and mindfulness. Pamela works with individuals affected by neurodevelopmental differences, including but not limited to developmental disabilities, ADHD, giftedness, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, and loss. Her focus areas include social skills, emotion regulation, executive functioning, parent coaching, and support within educational environments. Together with her clients, she explores how beliefs and behaviors influence emotional experiences and overall functioning. Pamela incorporates a multicultural and social justice perspective throughout her practice, addressing the effects of racism, classism, sexism, homophobia, gender identity, and other forms of discrimination that impact health and well-being. She has also specialized in culturally-responsive student services in both public and independent schools, helping to develop curriculum and programs that emphasize mentorship and training for inclusion, social skill development, Positive Discipline, gender diversity, executive function, and mindfulness.
