Lynn Buell

Lynn Buell is a compassionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, holding an LICSW and being a Fellow of the American Board of Psychoanalysis (FABP). With a master's degree in social work from Columbia University and extensive psychoanalytic training at the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, Lynn brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. She specializes in helping individuals, from preteens to elders, navigate through challenges such as depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Using her deep empathy and wisdom, she equips clients with practical tools to manage complex feelings arising from isolation, loneliness, anger, and self-criticism. Through her client-centered approach, many have rediscovered the creativity of their childhood, successfully working through their difficulties in fewer sessions. Lynn has also fostered community engagement as the founder of discussion groups on psychoanalysis and opera. Her broad array of therapeutic modalities—ranging from mindfulness-based techniques to trauma-focused and family systems therapy—ensures that each client receives personalized support as they learn to better understand themselves and cope with life's challenges.
