Jessica Hoekstra, a compassionate and dedicated Counselor and LMHC, believes therapy is about creating space for change. She provides support to teens, adults, and couples dealing with trauma, anxiety, grief, relationships, life transitions, and identity formation. Jessica has a special focus on assisting women recovering from trauma and has completed Level One of the Gottman Method, a research-based approach tailored for couples. Her studies in interpersonal neurobiology and Polyvagal Theory complement her therapeutic practice, acknowledging the connection between the mind and body and emphasizing the body's inherent wisdom. As an ally to the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, Jessica strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. As a gentle yet challenging therapist, she is committed to fostering a safe and supportive space for exploration, listening attentively and providing a non-judgmental presence.
