Dwayne Robert Stone

Dwayne Robert Stone, MS, LMHC, is a seasoned counselor with over 35 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Throughout his career, he has worked in various capacities, including counselor, case manager, and supervisor in community mental health programs across Oregon, Missouri, and Washington. Dwayne has developed and taught post-divorce and parenting programs, and he has reached thousands of individuals through workshops and seminars focused on parenting, relationships, and crisis intervention. He is also an experienced trainer, having taught Mental Health First Aid courses in both Washington and Hawaii. Dwayne embodies the Japanese proverb, "Fall seven times, stand up eight," as he strives to support individuals facing difficult situations. His expertise lies in assisting those struggling with anxiety, panic, depression, and PTSD, as well as addressing conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Understanding that treatment needs can often be misunderstood, Dwayne recognizes that helpers may sometimes feel fearful, frustrated, or unaware of the available support. He believes that most individuals have a sense of their desires and limitations, and his holistic approach empowers them to explore various options and choices, even when they feel limited.
