Carie Cook

Carie Cook is a dedicated Counselor (LMHCA) who brings a compassionate, humanistic approach to therapy. She understands the challenges of being human—questions of adequacy and the weight of anxiety can create barriers to personal connection and growth. With a Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University, Carie is adept at helping individuals and couples navigate their emotional landscapes. She believes that true personal growth requires the integration of mind, body, and soul. By exploring personal wounds, difficult emotions, and behavioral patterns, she guides her clients on their journeys toward deeper, more fulfilling relationships and a release from pain and hurt. An LGBTQIA+ Kink/Poly Ally and advocate for social justice and racial equity, Carie specializes in working with both couples and individuals aged 15 and above to provide care that is free from shame or judgment. Her eclectic approach, which includes mindfulness-based methods, compassion-focused therapy, and attachment-based techniques, allows her to connect with clients across various backgrounds and issues. In her practice, she emphasizes the enhancement of communication, sexual intimacy, and emotional expression. Inspired by E.E.
