Bethany Bylsma is a compassionate counselor with an MA, LMHC, and MHP, specializing in psychodynamic therapy. With a wealth of experience working with teens (13+) and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and identity issues, Bethany understands the profound impact of relationships on our lives. She believes they can shape, harm, and ultimately heal us. Drawing from trauma theory, attachment theory, art therapy directives, and somatic practices, she skillfully navigates the therapeutic journey with her clients. For over eight years, she has passionately worked with young adults transitioning into independent living. Her diverse experiences living and traveling abroad have fueled her dedication to supporting humanitarians, activists, missionary families, and those in helping professions. Bethany aims to be a welcoming space for all aspects of her clients' identities, honoring the bravery it takes to seek support.
