MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Seattle, WA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran accessing VA care for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management options that align with their unique needs and lifestyle preferences. We offer a variety of support avenues, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for those who prefer in-home messaging with clinical support. The MOVE! Coach mobile app allows Veterans to take charge of their weight management journey independently. For those needing additional assistance, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery following MOVE! participation. Interested Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to start their journey toward healthier living.
