Melinda Johnson, LICSW, is a dedicated therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in youth and family therapy. Her practice focuses on creating positive change, understanding that the most impactful growth often occurs outside the office as clients implement coping skills and strategies learned in therapy sessions. Melinda primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, while also integrating other therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual needs of each youth. As a summa cum laude graduate of WSU, she earned her MSW in 1996 and is licensed in the state of Washington. Melinda takes pride in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, grief and loss, trauma, Asperger's and Autism Spectrum Disorders, attachment issues, attention deficit disorders, and executive functioning challenges.
