The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Quincy, WA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of food system advocates through an empowering and tuition-free program. Offering comprehensive education in organic food systems, this fellowship equips selected participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to champion social, environmental, and economic justice in our food practices. Throughout a transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in hands-on learning and can collaborate with local partners to grow and sell diverse crops, implement innovative health education, cultivate community gardens, and support farmers markets. Following their residency, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, working alongside regional non-profits to enhance food access and promote food literacy. This initiative inspires proactive solutions for a resilient food system, encouraging all who wish to apply by March of the application year for an enriching experience that runs from May to October.
