The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Longview, WA, is dedicated to cultivating knowledgeable advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental sustainability, and economic viability. Our program provides comprehensive, hands-on training without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in organic food system education while focusing on key initiatives such as growing diversified crops, facilitating health education, maintaining community gardens, and integrating food and ecological literacy into schools. Throughout a six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain invaluable skills that they then apply during a Community Action Year in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. We invite passionate individuals to join us in transforming the food landscape and fostering greater access to healthy foods in our communities. Applications are open until March each year, with opportunities available from May to October.
